Love, Oneness and Analogy
When a couple gets married, they are considered as one.
One unit. Two different roles but functioning as one.
The heart thinks, feels and decides and the arm obeys.
The soul and body as considered as being one. They are one.
The union of soul and body has some things about it that are similar to the union of a husband and wife when they have finally reached oneness.
Once Adam was without a soul and God breathed life and a soul into him thus fusing/uniting/ then, making about such a strict union that the two are considered one.
What are those similarities?
1 Both are one. 2 Both started apart and were brought together. 3 Both have different roles. 4 The body and the excellent wife obey/love immediately and without delay (the response time is quick). 5 A kind of death can separate them both. 6 A power beyond human abilities alone binds them both. 7 Harmony in both a strict and loving union of husband and wife and a strict powerful union of heart and arm or body and soul. 8 There is Peace, no enmity, unrest or fear. 9 They serve each other in the analogy. The body serves the head, and the head serves the body. The husband loves and serves the wife as the heart loves its own body or arm. Ephesian 5:25ff ( He mainly serves by love, protection and provision, she serves by love and obedience.)
My mind today was blissfully on the similarities above. Can you think of some more similarities between the unions. Please let me know in the comments!!

The bride in Solomon’s song of songs learned what love was by experience. They loved each other and became one sometime after their marriage. A time after she learned to mortify the sin of selfishness. In her words, “I am my beloved’s…: Song 7:10
Christ Solomon was a husband above all other husbands. The best of them all. He poured out his love on his first wife Naamah to the point where she no longer had any selfish desires and was truly one with her husband. She knew this was due to love which had bond them closer and closer over the course of their union.
She is sealed to his heart and arm and isn’t going anywhere, therefore she says,
“Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm, for love is strong to unite as death is strong to separate. Loves jealousy for the good and happiness of its affection is as intense as the fire of hell. Love has flames. It’s flames are from YHWH. Love is unquenchable and love is priceless.” Solomon’s song of songs 8:6-7
Due to the superlative characteristics of the love, they had in their hearts the two eventually became one in real life. At marriage they are one. We call that positional oneness. When practically speaking, in life and action the husband and wife aren’t always acting as one nor showing love quickly but positionally they are one, considered as one flesh the Bible says. One flesh meaning head and body. He is the head, and she is the body. He is the head and heart and she is the body and arm. The two are one.
Jesus desires us to be one with him.
It was in His prayer to His Father right before His death.
“May they be one as We are one.” ‘I in you and you in me. ” John 17
Jesus lets us know how a strict union of Jesus our heavenly bridegroom is possible.
If or rather since Jesus is in us and we are in Him therefore we are one. Because of the strict union or what the Bible calls a mystical union, because of the mystical union of Jesus Christ and His bride the two are positionally one and will become one as the two love God and each other. This union was a mystery until Jesus showed up, therefore it is called the mystical union.
“husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— 30 for we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”]32 This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” Ephesians 5:32.
Two becoming one flesh was not revealed in the OT. Something not revealed in the OT and is in the New is called a Mystery. In this context mystery is not meant to be understood as an unsolved murder but as information not told before and now made known.
Christ in us and us in Him.
UIs being in Him refers to the fact that the bride of Jesus Christ is one with himself. He is the Head and she is the body. Positionally they are one and it is the Spirit of God indwelling in them whereby the fact that they are truly united to Christ Jesus in a way that they can now be considered as one. Once they are one positionally, then sanctification or the beautification of the soul begins. Tis the work of the Spirit of Christ in us. Thus, Christ in us. Also, by the indewlling power of the Spirit of Christ Jesus we are communicated His mind, therefore we have “the mind of Christ“

1 Corinthians 2:16
“But we have the mind of Christ.”
There is no oneness happening unless Christ is in us in a similar way in which Christ Jesus the son of God is in the Father.
HHHmmmmm. Christ is in us. The word of God is in us by the power of the indwelling Spirit of Truth.
Do I have truth, the mind of Christ in my heart and loved?
The strictness of such a spiritual union is dependent upon the height of love, width, depth and consistency.
How high and true an idea of God can we have? The higher and greater the idea of God the higher our love reaches!!!
Grow in your idea of God so that your love could reach higher and the union become stricter. Your happiness and holiness depends upon it.
