Diablo is prince of this world, and he wants your love.
Yet I am in true love and loving every minute of it!
I behold my beloved and my friend.
This is my beloved and friend.
He is the most majestic king yet humble in heart.
He is a husband above all other husbands
His headship in our relationship is flawless, absolutely perfect for every decision he made was wise for he was guided by the Word of God, a spirit of Love and Wisdom.
I would look into his eyes and know him an amazing feeling a peace that I could not put words to.
His hands are more precious to me than silver or gold.
Everywhere my deeply beloved goes I will follow for I am his and he is mine.
This is my beloved and friend.
Love is free. Love is unconditional. Love is priceless.
“If someone where to offer the world for my love I would utterly and completely scorn the offer!” Solomon’s song of Songs 8:7
The tempter is Diablo.
He presents the world in all its pleasurable and delightful ways to our hearts and minds. Show your affection to him and he will give you the world and all its pleasures apart from the experience of God’s love and grace in Christ.
He tries to make service to Christ look like a burden and you will mis out on the comforts you have now. Selfishness. Diablo, whom I hate will all my mind, heart, soul and strength got me thinking more of myself than my beloved when I slept.
“I slept but my heart was awake.
Listen! My beloved is knocking:
“Open to me, my sister, my darling,
my dove, my flawless one.
My head is drenched with dew,
my hair with the dampness of the night.”
3 I have taken off my robe—
must I put it on again?
I have washed my feet—
must I soil them again?
4 My beloved thrust his hand through the latch-opening;
my heart began to pound for him.
5 I arose to open for my beloved,
and my hands dripped with myrrh,
my fingers with flowing myrrh,
on the handles of the bolt.
6 I opened for my beloved,
but my beloved had left; he was gone.
My heart sank at his departure.[a]
I looked for him but did not find him.
I called him but he did not answer.
7 The watchmen found me
as they made their rounds in the city.
They beat me, they bruised me;
they took away my cloak,
those watchmen of the walls! Solomon’s song of songs 5:2-7
He offered me the comforts of this world and I lost the opportunity of sweet communion with my beloved Lord/king, good friend and sweet husband.
I temporarily yet shamefully gave my love to the world in exchange for its pleasures. Though it was not true love but lust for the world and its desires. It was not love I gave Diablo but sinful desires.
I would never give true love to Diablo and his evil will for me because my love is reserved for the one my heart loves.
He took me to a place where I could get a clear view of the world and Diablo said I could have it in exchange for my love. To say I was appalled at the thought would be too mild a response. I totally and completely scorned the offer for even when Diablo offered the whole world for my love I did and would utterly scorn it.
I, Diablo will give you glory and honor for your love.
Lust of the eyes
Imagine the greatest and highest position of anyone on earth. King of all other kings. Queen of all other queens. I will give it to you for your love. I will give you world and all its pleasures along with the highest position of authority here on earth in exchange for the sweetest and most holy feelings you have for your Beloved/beloved and Friend/friend.
Pride of life
Started to sound a bit good. More was being added to the offer and live sure would seem to be a whole lot easier if I was king and ruled my own life, living as I choose. Little did I know it this thinking was life threatening. An eternal lake of fire is at the end of that road. I will have nothing of it.
Lust of the flesh
This will make your body feel good. That over there will make it feel even better. These over here would make you happier longer. Liar, liar, liar. Guilt and shame and a terrible sense of impending doom knock at those doors.
That was my life before but now I give it all away even if my Lord keeps his delightful presence from me for a long time. I give You my love for free. For the pure joy of it even if I don’t feel it.
Who has your heart? The devil and the world or Jesus Christ?
Think of all the sins you have done.
Think of the punishment you deserve for those sins. The wrath of God is abiding over your head.
Yet, God provided a lamb. A substitute who was innocent and able to bear the punishment in the form of God’s wrath upon himself. The Bridegroom showed His Love to His bride by suffering in her place for her good and true happiness by His side. When He had felt the full punishment He said, “It is finished.” Died then rose on the 3rd day. Now able to give the gift of love and faith to His bride when she believes and has love to her Lord, Savior, Friend and Husband.
Now go, show your love to Your Beloved by reading and obeying His Word.
