Love is Unquenchable

Many water can’t quench love” Solomon’s Song of Songs 8:7

At the end of the Love Poem, Solomon describes 6 characteristics of love. One of them being that Love is unquenchable. True Love. The highest love. A common love is quenchable but a love from God, is something of God and to God as its primary object of affection, is a love that can’t be quenched or stopped. The fire may go dim and the love may sleep for a time but the fire always remains and will flame up again forever!

Has you love for your spouse been quenched?

Has your love and obedience to God stopped for some reason? If so then think upon the Gospel and read Solomon’s Song of Song to help fan the flame again and get back the love for which you had at first!
